Tendencias actuales en la educación a distancia
Abstract
El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar un recuento de las tendencias actuales en la educación a distancia. La investigación educativa aplicada a este campo y los análisis críticos de experiencias en proceso han venido aumentando paulatinamente, produciendo un cumulo importante de literatura relacionada con el tópico. Programas de educación a distancia se están realizando en todos los continentes, y cada día se nota mayor propensión de los gobiernos a darle a los mismos apoyo. Esta circunstancia quizás es producida por las presiones de sectores que demandan acceso a la educación y por la esperanza que estos procedimientos resulten más económicos.
